Folch Studio from Barcelona, who in my opinion are one of the best design studios in Europe, have updated their website with some new work. Quality stuff as always.
Not quite sure what it is about these pictures by Swedish photographer Anders Lindén that caught my attention. Maybe it's the abstract quality his photos possess or the beautifully washed out colours that have the ability to make even the most mundane scenery or objects intriguing.
This is an unique event in San Francisco, with a lot of music, art installations and a day of action workshops, refreshing mixer reception with organic wine, beer, foods and a concert with the amazing Michael Franti, Tambores Remeleixo (a Brazilian drummers band) & Aguas da Bahia (a Brazilian group of dancers). The best part is: this event is free, you just need to donate 5 USD.
If you are in San Franciso or close by, please don't miss it! It will be on September/12th and 13th. More details here.
Jacqueline is a sixteen year old photographer from San Diego. Her pictures are really amazing, I had trouble choosing which ones to post here, because I love all of them! Check here for more.
Michael De Feo is an artist from New York, also known as the flower guy. His work is based on decorating the walls of the city with his flower paintings. Michael has taken his work around the world. His flowers were in Amsterdam, Paris, Toronto, Hong Kong and many other cities. Cool!
I just found this artist, art teacher and cupcake caterer from Vancouver, Canada! Her work is so delicate and makes me so hungry! More delicious cupcakes here and here.
I first came across Washed Out on the Gorilla vs Bear blog as well as on the excellent iso50 and I pretty much haven't stopped listening to it ever since.
