Amazing series by photographer Neil Pardington entitled The Clinic. He somehow manages to capture the mood perfectly.

Glamour for all

Glamour for all is a fantastic set by São Paulo based graffiti artist Ozi.

Museum Liaunig

I'm totally amazed by the architecture of the Museum Liaunig, in Neuhaus, Austria. Only a small part of the outstretched museum building is visible, the remainder of the museum is subterranean. Just awesome!

Lava Burst

Edgar Mueller is known for his amazing 3D Pavement Art, but I believe with the Lava Burst he did in Germany he has outdone himself.

A perfect place to work - part II

In the past I posted about the Selgas Cano office and now I could not let the new Facebook Headquarters pass by.
Studio O+A transformed an old lab facility into a modern, colourful and cozy place to work. Absolutely awesome!

Múm

Múm (pronounced “miooyyuujm”) is an amazing band from Iceland, their music is a combination of vocals, keyboards, trumpet, drums, melodica and other instruments. They just released their 5th album called Sing Along To Songs You Don't Know.

Suzan Choy

Suzan Choy is an illustrator living and working in Brooklyn, NY. I love the fact that she gets inspiration from daily things such as sandwiches, Tina Fey, 30 Rock, monograms, humidity, laundry, NYTimes Science Times and microns as she explains in her awesome sketch blog.

Note:
Suzan is pronounced as Suzanne and not Susan, Susanna, Suzy or Suzie Q!

Basic Space

The Arms Project

Sing Sang Sung

Barcelona food culture

I always like discovering small, new places that really make an effort to add that little extra when it comes to the more simple things in life, like getting a cup of coffee or enjoying a nice meal. It's even more fun to discover places while travelling, you can learn a lot about a culture and its people. While in Barcelona, I came across a few amazing places and there are a couple that stood out.

Chelo is a small, charming coffee place situated on the beautiful Plaza Vicenc Martorelli. For what it lacks in size, it makes up in quality with great coffee and sandwiches. It's the perfect place to sit back and relax after touring the beautiful streets of El Raval.

Lilipep is a great place, hidden in a tiny side street in the El Born neighbourhood. The only way you'll find it is either by knowing where to look or stumbling upon it while being lost.

BarcelonaReykjavik is an amazing bakery full of freshly baked bread using only the finest ingredients, focusing on the art of making bread.

Although Barcelona has plenty of great restaurants (and tapas bars!) Carmelitas is one that stood out for me. It's not expensive, the atmosphere is great, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the food is amazing. All ingredients are sourced from the local market and farmers and the menu will often depend on what is available at the market.

Michael Collins

There's something strangely beautiful about Michael Collins' photography. He somehow manages to capture the most mundane of subjects in such a way that they become something interesting, something beautiful.

Cesar Profeta

Carlos Profeta is a graffiti artist from São Paulo. I'm impressed by his amazing work!

Reel 2009

Tad Wagner

These cool photos were taken by Tad Wagner, art director at Oniracom and photographer for hire.
Check his awesome photo blog here.

Dan Tobin Smith

London based photographer Dan Tobin Smith takes some amazing still-life photographs, often making clever use of perspectives. I'm obviously not the only person who admires his distinctive style as he's worked with clients such as Visa, Nike, Absolut and most recently, the new Jay Z album The Blueprint 3.

Bored To Death

Bored To Death is an upcoming offbeat comedy series set to premier on September 20th on HBO. Jason Schwartzman stars as writer Jonathan Ames, who, due to his girlfriend leaving him and generally being bored of his life, decides to moonlight as a private investigator. The show also features the always funny Zach Galifianakis as Jonathan's best friend Ray and Ted Danson in the roll of Jonathan's boss George Christopher.

I had the chance to check out the first two episodes yesterday and the show looks pretty good. Take a look at the trailer here and judge for yourself.

Mowgli

I came across this short animated sketch of Mowgli by legendary Disney draughtsman Milt Kahl. You can find many more of these types of pencil tests, as they are more commonly known, on the Pecil Test Depot.

Lula Magazine

I just checked the new Lula Magazine website and it is so delicate! What I like most is the part on Mercedes Helnwein's studio, plus a really cool short film, where Miranda July shows her garden of sculptures.

Antony and The Johnsons

I just discovered this band and I'm really intrigued by them. The songs are really touching.
Get to know them too!

Thanks to Luke.
