Tatsuro Kiuchi is an awesome illustrator from Tokyo. Originally a graduate in Biology, he made the change to an art career after graduating with distinction from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.

For those who don't know Emmet Malloy, he is great film maker, responsible for really awesome films such as Ticker Than Water, The White Stripes Under Great White Northern Lights and recently Jack Johnson - En Corcert.

São Paulo Time Lapse
Here's a nice little stop-motion video by Jorge Brivilati showing a time lapse of a cloudy São Paulo sky. The city does look a lot more beautiful from that angle. Great choice of music too!
Calma
Another great Brazilian street artist that I need to mention here, Stephan Doitschinoff, also known as Calma, creates a unique visual language and style which creatively combines Afro-Brazilian folklore with Baroque religious iconography.
Casa da Laurets
I was into my Christmas shopping routine when I found Casa da Laurets (Lauret's house, in Portuguese), a really cute store from São Paulo based fashion designer Laura Martins.
Laura creates really fashionable kitchen cloths and place mats. So if you are around the city, please stop by Casa de Laurets!
