As far as I'm concerned, Japan has some of the most interesting architecture in the world and this Nakagin Capsule Tower is no exception. Designed by Kisho Kurokawa and completed in 1972, it consists of 140 pre-assembled capsules that were then hoisted into place like giant lego blocks.
